ABOUT ME

Little Eyes Alien is the artistic name of Erika Santiago, a professional illustrator originally from southern Mexico, now based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Since childhood, illustration has been her way of understanding the world and expressing herself authentically. Over time, she has developed a naïve, bold, and mystical style, characterized by a vibrant use of color, a natural extension of her passion for visual storytelling.

Erika has refined her artistic voice through professional training in illustration and graphic design, blending continuous learning with hands-on experience to build a solid and dedicated creative career.

She currently leads her own brand, Little Eyes Alien, along with a design studio that collaborates with clients around the world. Her work uses imagery as a powerful medium to communicate and to complement the beauty of everyday life. Through her illustrations, she expresses a dynamic, sarcastic, and empowering personality, always infused with humor and a strong focus on emotional well-being. She advocates for slowing down in today’s fast-paced world, promoting authenticity and embracing imperfection as a vital part of the human experience.

She has collaborated on various international projects and with brands across different industries. One of her most recent highlights was being part of the global JanSport Legacy Anniversary campaign. In 2024, she also designed the official poster for the Hola Mexico Film Festival, held in Los Angeles, California. Additionally, her work was featured in Brillo Magazine in Milan, Italy, in April 2025.
